14 vie in virtual Mrs. Queen of Hearts Philippines 2020

While most local beauty pageant annual searches hang in the balance due to COVID-19, Mrs. Queen of Hearts Philippines 2020, the pageant for married women, is pushing through with a virtual coronation night set in August 2020.

Fourteen candidates from around the country are vying for six titles at stake to represent the country in international pageants. Presented by Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc., headed by CEO/national director Mitzie Go-Gil, Queen of Hearts Philippines 2020’s virtual national costume competition will be judged via online voting.

The Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. has been fulfilling its outreach undertakings since the lockdown distributing relief goods to help the citizens and frontliners cope with the pandemic. Queen of Hearts Philippines 2020 has decided to have each of this year’s candidates to organize their own charity projects with the aim to help their respective communities during these most trying times. About 15,000 gift packs containing groceries, face masks and vitamins were recently provided to frontliners, hospital personnel and poor communities.

Two of last year’s Queen of Hearts Philippines title-holders brought honors to the country with Avon Morales crowned Mrs. Asia Pacific Global 2019 and Llena Tan bagging 2nd runner up in Mrs. Worldwide 2019. The rest also reaped honors and special citations.

The fourteen candidates of Mrs. Queen of Hearts Philippines 2020 are Ma. Glovel Tasico (Batangas), Darling Topacio Edralin (Misamis Oriental), Louise Suzanne Alba Lopez (Quezon City), Catherine Jordan Flores (Ilocos Norte), Anette Mendoza (Pampanga), Joybelle Corpuz Portabes (Isabela), Sarima Paglas (Maguindanao), Ivy Diana Bo (Cavite), Joanna Krisanta La Madrid (Iligan), Teodora Pizzara Albuquerque (Marinduque), Heraldine Cuanica Barcena (Bicol), Melissa Quiambao (Caloocan), Catherine Malacad (Dasmariñas) and Lalaine Federizo (Valenzuela City).
