Malaysian beauty crowned Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2019

Miss Malaysia Yingwei Chuah won Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2019 at the grand coronation night held recently at the AFP Theater in Quezon City. Chuah, who was the former Miss Multinational Malaysia and Miss Teen Malaysia 2018, also bagged best in long gown and was crowned by last year’s winner Huynh Vy of Vietnam.

Miss Vietnam Duong Yen Nhung took the Miss Tourism Global Queen International 2019 title while Miss Mexico Felisa Cepeda was named Miss Tourism Grand Queen International 

2019. Miss Philippines Theresa Diana Pazcoguin was named first runner-up; with Miss Morocco Chaima Heijam, Miss USA Jenniferr Millett and Miss Zimbabwe Tania Aaron Tania Tatenda finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th runners-up, respectively.

Winners of Continental Queens were Miss Hong Kong Qui Yijing, Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide Asia 2019; Miss Poland Janozsek Natalia, Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide Europe 2019; Miss Nigeria Chijioke Chiamaka, Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide Africa 2019; Miss Upper Myanmar Nhang Aung, Miss Tourism Petite Worldwide; and Miss Malaysia 2 Nurul Asyiqin Faisal, Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide Queen of Peace.

Others in the Top 15 were Miss Poland Janozsek Natalia, Miss Nigeria Chijioke Chiamaka, Miss Hong Kong Qui Yijing, Miss South Korea, Miss Nepal Prajita Tamang, Miss Upper Myanmar Nhang Aung, Miss NT Hong Kong and Miss South Africa Zamakhanyayo Nontlanga.

Others special awards winners were Miss Korea, Best in National Costume; Miss Vietnam, Best in VTR; Miss USA, People’s Choice Award and Miss China, Miss Photogenic.

The Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2019 was participated by 27 delegates from around the world. “The pageant looks for global beauties who will help advance responsible and sustainable tourism worldwide, to promote diversity and harmony through the delegates countries’ festivities, food, customs, traditions and arts,” said Amy Sunio-Abarquez, international director of the pageant.
