Queen of Paella shares secret to success

Five years ago, housewife-mother of five, Jessie Maloles was a runner-up in Mrs. Asia International 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Now, at age 42, the Rita Avila-look alike is a successful restaurateur after taking under her wing the Las Paellas restaurant in 2016.

Renamed Bless Las Paellas, the fav-paella eatery has recently added its fifth branch in the heart of Quezon City at North Tower, SM North EDSA, which also caters for all occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, etc.

Maloles’ success story from a content homemaker to businesswoman started out of curiosity. Maloles, a native of Davao but grew up in General Santos City, graduated with a degree in Business Administration graduate from Holy Trinity College. She worked part time in Chinese hardware while in college. Married to an ambassador’s son, Rico Maloles II, the budding entrepreneur wanted to try her luck on Food and Beverage business and established the Bless Amare Group of Companies.

The rest is history as Bless Las Paellas, famous for its Old Spanish classic cuisines combined with favorite Filipino food, and of course, mouthwatering authentic paella, grew under its CEO Maloles’ bright management with branches in Greenhills, Parañaque, Vista Mall Taguig and Vista Mall Nuvali.

Molales’ Bless Amare Group of Companies has expanded to establish boutique hotels and resorts, the Bless Amare Boutique Hotel in Parañaque and Bless Amare Sunrise Resort in Mindanao. Another Amare Boutique Hotel in Davao and Bless Amare Sunset Resort in Batangas is in the offing. Molales’ vision is to expand her businesses in order to employ and provide jobs for more people and to help the community in general. “While I’m so deeply thankful for all the blessings that come my way, I make sure that I become a blessing to others as well. By sharing your blessings, that way you find fulfillment and success. Blessings are meant to be shared. I believe that the more you share and give, the bigger the rewards you will reap,” Maloles said. (Report By Eton Concepcion)
