Grade Six student competes in Junior models of Annual WCOPA Championships 2019

Vanessa Lynn Rubite, an 11-year-old, Grade 6 student of Sacred Heart School, will represent the country in the Junior Models-Female category of the 23rd Annual World Championships of the Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2019, from July 10-29, 2019, to be held at Long Beach Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California.

Rubite, who hails from Parañaque City, loves modeling, singing and acting, will waer a national costume created by Cathy-Mora Capistrano, swimwear by Sony Boy Mindo and evening gown by Alex Ganda Anore and Toño Toño.

The WCOPA is dubbed a one-and-only, Olympic style international meet for aspiring performers and entertainers held in Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the world. Singers, musicians, dancers, variety artists, actors and models from the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa are competing before judges from the entertainment industry for the gold and treasured prizes.

Rubite will be following on last year’s 22nd WCOPA finalists from the Philippines, Roshan Jill Borbon in the Female models category and in the Male Juniors category, Richie Anton Sumido. (By Eton Concepcion)
