After four
years in hiatus, the Miss Teen Philippines pageant has sprung back to life and
is about ready to crown a new titleholder from among the thirty-one lovely
candidates coming from all over the country. Miss Teen Philippines 2014 Nicole
Villar will pass on her crown to the winner to be known at the coronation night
set tonight at New Frontier Theater, Araneta Center, Cubao.
To recall,
Nicole Villar Magadia, a commercial model, vied at the Miss Teen International
2016 held in Jacksonville, Florida, United States and nearly won the title
finishing as 1st runner-up.
The premier
Miss Teen Philippines pageant is back with a bigger agenda highlighting the
Filipino youth’s “Global Readiness through Education.” To realize the MTP
organization’s campaign in advancing the youth’s growth to become future
leaders in their own, it has partnered with various local government agencies
and initiated collaborations with the media. The 31 candidates have been busy
attending to activities such as a courtesy call to the Muntinlupa City Mayor
Jaime de la Rosa Fresnedy, the Omizu Water headquarters in Antipolo, Laguna
