It’s Christmas time, the most
wonderful time of the year is ushered at the Araneta Center in Cubao with the lighting
of its giant Christmas tree. A tradition at the Center since 1981, the
100-foot-tall Christmas tree of more than 2,000 lights is the 36th installed to
brighten and bring holiday cheers to millions of shoppers this Yuletide season.
Comedian Vice Ganda and BPCI
chairperson Stella Marquez-Araneta with the Bb. Pilipinas queens led the
lighting ceremony now in a new spot located at Times Square Food Park corner
Roxas Avenue, near the Araneta Center Bus Station.
Kapamilya stars delighted the
afternoon crowd who were treated to fireworks display at the end of the
lighting event ceremony. They included Erik Santos, Jona Soquite, The Voice
Teen Philippines grand champion with finalists Glinoga and Mica Becerro, Kaye
Cal, Kisses Delavin, The Boyband PH, Alex Gonzaga, Justin James, UDD (UP Dharma
Down) and popular child actors Onyok, Raiko and Matteo.

runner-up Elizabeth Clenci, Miss Globe 2017-1st runner-up Nelda Ibe and Bb.
Pilipinas 2017-2nd runner-up Kristel Guelos assisted Ms. Marquez-Araneta in
