Aptly called ‘Ageless and Forever Young,’ TV/radio host Cory Quirino has been named Novuskin Lift ambassador during the launching of the revolutionary anti-aging food supplement by Nutramedica held recently at Dusit Thani Hotel, in Makati City.
Quirino, who
has a weekly beauty and wellness column, will share her beauty and anti-aging
secrets and her experience using Novuskin Lift. “The foundation of beauty is
good health. And the secret of looking and feeling young is to live a healthy
lifestyle. A lifestyle of wellness leads to beauty regardless of age,” Quirino
said during the launching.
“Novuskin Lift
is made of 18 natural anti-aging and skin brightening extracts including marine
fish collagen, grape seed extract and L-glutathione. It has a naturally-derived
food supplement with anti-aging and skin brightening powers that can bring back
one’s youthful beauty. It provides not only skin protection but also skin restoration
and rejuvenation. More than just a beauty product, it also offers health
benefits to one’s well-being by delaying the early signs of aging visible to
the skin,” Cory explained.
Novuskin Lift has
been clinically-tested to stimulate collagen production, fight inflammation and
protect the skin against ultraviolet (UV radiation). “We take great care in
making sure that our ingredients are sourced naturally. We believe that by
combining the power of nature with sophisticated technology, we can create high
quality and innovative products that can enrich lives,” said Nutramedica CEO
Sheila Mae Velilla.
During the
event, Quirino officially stated her decision to part ways with the Miss World
Organization after six years of managing the CQ Global Quest, the franchise
holder of Miss World Philippines search. “I have decided to relinquish the
license of Miss World Philippines for both personal and business reasons. I thank
everyone for supporting me the last six years, and for being part of our
challenges and victories, and my journey with Miss World Philippines. I am ever
grateful to you all. Farewell to the red crown,” Quirino said with mixed
emotions.
Quirino
revealed that her Miss World Philippines journey had been both a
heart-wrenching and exciting journey which led to the Miss World crown. She was
proud to have kept her promise to her countrymen and would leave behind a
legacy. To many Filipinos, her decision to leave the local pageant scene may
have been an offshoot of Catriona Gray’s undeserving Top 5 finish at the 2016 Miss
World pageant. “I felt that Gray deserved to win the crown and if fate was not
on our side, then a Top 3 finish would be good enough. I found myself examining
my life’s mission and my subconscious decision to move on was made after the
Miss World pageant in Washington, D.C. on December 18, 2016,” Quirino shared
her avid followers. Report by Eton B.
