Mrs. Queen of Hearts continue to share this pandemic

 

In Imus, Cavite, the MMG Queen of Hearts Foundation launched a project to save lives of children with serious illnesses. The project is dubbed “DUGTONG BUHAY MISSION” which provides cash assistance, milk, diaper and vitamins to the beneficiaries.



In Sta. Maria, Bulacan yesterday, October 4, a loving mother requested the Foundation for assistance to her children. She lost her job as a washerwoman and her husband who was a jeepney driver is also out of work. The Foundation gave her Queen of Hearts Care Packages which contains: milk, choco powder, vitamins, slippers, facemask and cash.


The Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc., organizer of the annual Mrs. Queen of Hearts Philippines pageant for married women, continued its ‘beauty with a heart’ charitable activities which started during the Coronavirus lock-in when they initiated distributing face masks, protective suits and alcohol tofrontliners.

One of these is its ‘DugtongBuhay Mission,’ which aims to provide assistance indigent children beneficiaries. Recently, under the program, Queen of Hearts extended help to a desperate mother of two small children, ages 1 and 3, who was prevented to work as a washerwoman due to the pandemic while her husband also unable to work as jeepney driver.

The mother, who resides in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, received a Queen of Hearts Care package that contained milk, chocolate, vitamins, face masks, slippers and cash.

The program also extended help to two boys from Angono, Rizal, ages 7 and 10, who were abandoned by their parents during the time of GCQ. A neighbor asked for support after she tried to get in contact with the parents in social media to no avail. 

Queen of Hearts founder and presidentMitzie Go-Gil and Mrs. Philippines Asia Pacific Intercontinental 2019 Glynes Evangelista Olbes visited the boys in their home in Brgy. MahabangParangand handed some assistance to tide them over.

The program’s ‘Palugaw Charity Mission’ was also conducted in Sunshine Ville, Barangay Cabuco, TreceMartires, Cavite, in partnership with DZRH ‘Showbiz Spotted’ host Atorni Ton. The feeding program benefited some 1000 residents. Queen of Hearts eco bags were also provided to 127 children beneficiaries and their families.

MMG Queen of Hearts has also distributed ‘Ayuda’ goodies for the pageant members of media during this pandemic. Aside from Mitzie Go-Gil and Olbes, other Queen of Hearts beauties with a heart who have joined in their charitable works includedMrs. Asia Pacific Global 2019 Avon Morales, Mrs. Worldwide 2019 second runner-up Llena Tan, Mrs. Philippines Asia Pacific Cosmopolitan 2019 Mary Chris Albacahin-Camacho, Mrs. Maguindanao 2020 XiamzzyDy, RosendaCasaje, SarimaPaglas, Marjorie Orito, Chin Yang Park, Catherine Castillo-Jordas, LimpayenSibug Las and Queen of Hearts BOD Dra. Elisa Sonza.

The preliminary competitions for the on-going 2020 Mrs. Queen of Hearts Philippines pageant have been held virtually with the top winners chosen in the national costume, talent, advocacy, social media and People’s Choice special award-categories.  Finals winners will be known during the grand coronation to be held before end of the year.
