Miss Universe-Philippines 2020 winner to be crowned on October 25 aired on GMA7

With the annual Miss Universe pageant going to be held this year, notwithstanding the restrictions of the pandemic, the interrupted search for Miss Universe-Philippines 2020 has resumed with 51 candidates vying for the lone crown to become the country’s representative to the prestigious pageant.

“Yes, the Miss Universe pageant will go ahead this year,” said Shamcey Supsup-Lee, national director of Miss Universe-Philippines (MUP) Organization. “Miss Universe-Philippines 2020 is going to be a mix online and actual pageant. With all the hindrances we’re experiencing today, we want the pageant to be a venue of hope where they could continue to reach for their dreams,” Supsup-Lee added.

Follow the pre-pageant activities which will be shown online in several episodes, featuring the journeys of the candidates leading to the pageant coronation finals to be telecast on GMA7 on October 25, 2020.
