Paul Luzineau of the Netherlands bested thirty-five
candidates from around the world and was crowned Manhunt International 2020
during the pageant’s World Final Gala Night held at New Frontier Theater
Saturday night.
Luzineau’s court of honor are Mr. Greece Nikos Antonopoulos,
1st runner up; Mr. Brazil Matheus Giora, 2nd runner up; Mr. Spain Yeray
Hidalgo, 3rd runner up; an Mr. India Mayur Gangwani, 4th runner up.
Mr. Philippines Luisito Daumier Corilla was named in the Top
16. Semi-finalists. Others in the Top 16 were Australia’s Riley Channells,
Paraguay’s William Ocampos, Poland’s Adrian Michalowski, Sri Lanka’s Sajith
Perera, Sweden’s Elvir Aljicevic, Thailand’s Sittipong Imsatian, Turkey’s Yekta
Baki, UAE’s Mohammad Tamseer, United Kingdom’s Ben Spong and Vietnam’s Pham
Dinh Linh.
Luzineau, from Gorinchem, South Holland, also won the Face
of the Year special award. He is the first Dutchman to win the Manhunt
International title.
Other special awards winners were Mr. Paraguay Ocampos as Mr.
Internet Popularity; Mr. United Kingdom Spong, best Fashion Model; Mr. Sweden
Aljicevic, best Commercial Model; Mr. Vietnam Linh, best Runway Model; Mr.
Thailand Imsatian, Mr. Photogenic; Mr. Nepal Bibesh Shrestha, Mr. Personality;
Mr. Peru Alonzon Anasgo, Mr. Physique; Mr. Trinidad & Tobago Reon Elder, Mr.
Friendship; and Mr. Philippines Corilla, best in National Costume.
The 20th edition Manhunt International was hosted by Christi
Lynn McGarry and Andrei Brouillette. Among the judges were Manhunt
International 2012 June Macasaet, Bb. Pilipinas International 2014 Mary Anne
Bianca Guidotti, Manhunt International 2018 Vicent Llorach and Manhunt
International executive president Rosko Dickinson.
Manhunt International, which originally started as a male
model ‘manhunt’ contest in 1988 in Singapore, is arguably the most prestigious
of all pageants for men and aims to promote new faces for the male modelling
