Philippines wins Mrs. Tourism Ambassador International 2020



Myla Villagonzalo Tsutaichi won Mrs. Tourism Ambassador International 2020 at the Mrs. Tourism Ambassador Universe 2020 pageant held at Ming Garden Hotel in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia recently. The former was also awarded Sri Andaman Butik Ambassador.

The 44-year-old, native of Baliuag, Bulacan works as a massage therapist and Kimono teacher in Japan where she met and married her Japanese husband. A mother of three, Tsutaichi put up a health and beauty massage service in Japan after she completed studies in therapeutic Massage studies at the Ampai Institute in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Tsutaichi took up Kimono lessons for three years at Hakubi Kyoto Kimono School and earned her international license as Professional Kimono Teacher in 2016, the first and only Filipino to achieve the distinction. She was awarded World Class Oustanding Kimono Teacher in Fukuoka, Japan and Most Outstanding Kimono Teacher at the Gawad America Awards in California, USA.

A philanthropist, Tsutaichi is the founder and chairman of the Kimono Global Friendship Organization which promotes Japanese culture and tradition and holds charity works for orphans and elderlies in Japan and the Philippines. (Report by Eton Concepcion)
