The charming candidates of Ambassador
and Ambassadress of the World–Philippines (AWPH) 2019 were introduced wearing
casual chic outfits at the press presentation held at Robinsons Magnolia on
Monday. Forty women and forty men will compete for the titles, namely,
Ambassadress of the World-Philippines 2019, Ambassador of the World-Philippines
2019, Ambassadress of the World-Tourism Philippines 2019, Ambassadress of the
World-International 2019, Mister Universal Ambassador-Philippines2019 and
International Ambassador Philippines 2019.
Gezza Avila of Quezon Province and
Hisam Hit of Manila were voted Darling of the Press. Avila is a 22-year-old, graduate
of Bachelor of Science in Cruiseship Management and the reigning Bb. Niyogyugan
2018 and Miss Teen Candelaria 2018. Hit is a 21-year-old, model.
Wearing casual chic-designed outfits
of the colors of the national flag, blue by Louis Pangilinan, red by Jhong
Sudion, white by Cathy Mora-Capistrano and yellow by Don Cristobal, the female candidates
are Kristine Charlotte Hammond, Shenna Mae Zaldivar, Joana Zapanta, Lovely
Dinah Baeshen, Julie Ann Tarrayo, Christine Julianne Opiaza, Rica Jean Rosas,
Jasmine Omay, Gabrielle Basiano, Ruffa Nava, Bianca Mae Hernandez, Jemaina
Florence Bernardo, Micah Songco, Jade Vineyard, Janhelen Villanueva, Patrixia
Sherly Santos, Shaira Rona, Marelyn Orlanda, Donabelle Erno and Avila.
The male candidates are John Mark de
Vera, Sho Migerito Uchimura, Daniel Joseph Cruz, Ryu Michael Uchimura, Brian
Scott Lomboy, Joco San Juan, Elcid Magne Camacho, Mark Jefferson Valerio, Danes
Roner Cruz, Jerel Nabong, Jesus Norbert Macaraeg, Kim Andrei Acorda, Kristoffer
Kelly Mendoza, Carl Joseph Abueg, Vincent Alfonso Serrano, Jef Cutler, Judah
Nathaniel Tiosejo, Kenneth Carpena, Karl Christopher Cadag and Hit.
AWPH 2019 is a first hybrid of pageant
and modeling for the country where it gives models the opportunity to exemplify
themselves not only as professionals in the field, but to show their potentials
to be models with a cause, helping out the society by being the ambassadors and
ambassadresses of their own advocacies.
“We will showcase
#ConquerWithoutLimits, the AWPH 2019 slogan and objective to make an impact
towards people, by sending the message to the community that ‘taking risk is
not something to be afraid of especially when in service to others,” said James
Tiu, national director of Ambassador and Ambassadress of the World Philippines.
The AWPH 2019 coronation night is on
