A
benefit fashion show dubbed “The Warriors of Nature Fashion Show Gala Night 2018”
was held recently at Icon Hotel, Timog, Quezon City featuring upcoming young
models. The fashion show, organized by Jay Daniel Verano, Mr. Golden Universe
Philippines 2016 and directed by Ricky Velarde of Modelo Icons Management, in
cooperation with the Lions Club International, aimed to raise funds for the
water system of Dumagat tribes of Norzagaray and Manobo tribe in Tuguegarao.
The
Warriors of Nature fashion show featured the collection of designers Eugene
Martinez, Dave Ocampo, Queenie Dela Concepcion, Jowie Namayan, Jhong Sudlon and
Marshee Navarro. The models were Alyanna Jane Rodas, Imogene Blanch Belles,
Angelyn Boco Gapas, Lianna Mae Murphy, Geronimo Murphy, Stephanie Andie
Buenaventura and Sarina Ralph Navarro. Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 grand
winner Laarni Lozada and Tawag ng Tanghalan finalist “Big Sister Belter of
Batangas”Pauline Agupitan were the guest performers.
The
Warriors of Nature has been organizing benefit shows for years to help the
Dumagats, one of the country’s neglected indigenous minorities who have
