Lansangan led five other winners of the recently concluded Misters of Filipinas
2017 pageant held at One Esplanade in Pasay City. The 19-year-old, 5-foot-11,
native of Mabalacat, Pampanga succeeded Miguel Mari Guia and will represent the
country at the Mister International 2017 pageant in Thailand. Lansagan, the
2016 Mr. Babalacat (Haring Caragan) is currently a student in Bachelor of
Science in Business Management at Holy Angel University. Lansangan earlier
received the Best in Ethnic Wear, Mr. Coco Line and Fitness Challenge-Last Man
Standing special awards.
Filipino-Latvian model Clint Karklins
Peralta, a 26-year-old, 6-foot-1, Nursing graduate of Universidad de Santa
Isabel in Naga, Camarines Sur was named Man of the World Philippines 2017. The Naga City-born meztiso succeeded police
inspector Christopher Dulagan and will compete at the Man of the World 2017
pageant. Peralta won the Best in Formal Wear, People’s Choice Award and Mr.
Photogenic special awards.
Cebuano Yves Campos, also a Nursing
graduate of Velez College in Cebu and now works in Hawaii, USA took the title
Misters of Filipinas-Supranational 2017 succeeding AR dela Serna. The 24-year-old,
5-foot-9 native of Talisay City will be the country’s bet in Mister
Supranational 2017 pageant in Poland on December 2, 2017.
Filipino-German Rubi Kust, a
21-year-old, 6-1, graduate of Mechanical Engineering and raised in Spain was
named Misters of Filipinas 2017 – Man of the Year, succeeding last year’s
titlist Issa Janda.
Fitness instructor Carlo Pasion, a
21-year-old, 5-foot-11, native of Laoag City and a computer programming
graduate, won the Mister Ocean Philippines 2017 succeeding Vincent Jarina. Pasion
took home the Best in Talent, Mr. Anytime Fitness and Missosology’s Choice
special awards.
Print ad model Ion Perez, a
26-year-old, 5-10, native of Capas, Tarlac earned the title of Mister Universe
Tourism Philippines 2017 succeeding CJ Querol. Perez received the Best in
Swimwear, Mr. Critical Beauty and Mr. Elevatione special awards.
Jonathan Maniquis, a 22-year-old,
5-10, graduate of Education at the Our Lady of Fatima University and a finalist
in 2016 Misters of Filipinas, finished as First Runner-up. Maniquis was voted Mr.
Congeniality. Twenty-two-year-old John Joseph Hipolito of the Filipino community
of Italy was named second runners up.
Rounding out the Top 15 were Vann
Ramos of Cebu, winner of Mr. David’s Salon and Mr. Gold Leaf Production special
awards; Andrei Acorda of Tarlac, winner of the Trendsetter special award; Chris
Capistrano of Obando, Bulacan, Neil Erwin Regis of Pangasinan, Bap Nograles
Petel of Davao City, John Marben Segui of Taytay, Rizal, and Ryan Guiao
Hernandez of Concepcion, Tarlac).
The Misters of Filipinas pageant, now
on its fifth year, has produced two international winners in Mister
International 2014 Neil Perez and Man of Year 2016 Karan Singhdole. It is owned
and presented by Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc., headed
by Mr. Manhunt Philippines International 2010 Carlo Morris Galang. (BY
