25 compete in Mister Grand International 2017

Twenty five international delegates from all over the world have arrived in Manila to compete in the inaugural Mister Grand International 2017 (MRGI) pageant with the grand finals to be held on October 6 at the Crossroad 77 Convenarium in Quezon City.

Presented by Mister Grand International Pageant, Inc., headed by president & CEO Mark Gil Balisacan, the newest male international pageant deviates from the usual male beauty pageants as the competition will center on sports-themed activities as the main staple of the  competition he Each of the delegate will showcase their respective popular national sports. The candidates traveled at the world famous Heritage City of Vigan, the host province of MRGI from October 1 to 5.

Hot on the list for the Top 12 pick are 1) Australia’s Michael Angelo Skyllas,- 2) Japan’s Riku Yuasa, 3) Germany’s Hamid Noor, 4) Philippines’ Joshua Reginald Banatin, 5) Malaysia’s Kian Ching, 6) Nepal’s Dikpal Karki, 7) France’s Michael Aghadjanian, 9) USA’s Aaron Day, 10) Vietnam’s Nguyen Tien Dat, 11) Spain’s Victor Haro and 12) Thailand’s Rachata Hamphanon.

Country’s bet Banatin is 22-year-old, 5-foot-10, Ginoong Laguna 2017, and a graduate of BS Tourism graduate from Laguna State Polytechnic University. The rest of the candidates are Borneo’s Ersazuan Magbanua, Brazil’s Caique Campos, Canada’s Mohamad Rahmanian, Dominican Republic’s Blachy Abreu Dominguez, Ecuador’s Abel Diaz, Guam’s Patrick Camacho, Ghana’s Giuseppe Nkansah, Guadeloupe’s Ken Coco, Hungary’s Ádám Soltész, India’s Debojit Bhattacharya, Indonesia’s Andry Roesliana Putra, Italy’s Valerio Patanè, Korea’s Jin Stewart, Mexico’s Ever Tellez, Myanmar’s Myat Min San, Nigeria’s Christopher Ita, Peru’s Renzo Vitteri, Sri Lank’s Vimukthi Wijekulasooriya and Venezuela’s Cesar Urbaneja.

Mister Grand International 2017, the second international male pageant to be held in the country, after the inaugural Man of the World 2017, sets its eyes in men who are athletic and sports-minded requiring skills to be competitive in nature, at any given sports. The pageant promotes “Camaraderie and Competitiveness” as its main theme highlighted during the pre-pageant activities which also include the swimwear, formal wear and interview competition.
