The
Gemmalyn Crosby Sports Festival (GCSF) 2017, the biggest sports event in the

Cosby, the
first Philippine IFBB (International Federation of Body Builders) Pro Card
Holder, gained her IFBB Pro Card in 2012 by winning the prestigious Arnold
Classic Amateur International (Bikini Class B) and 2012 NPC Atlantic USA Bikini
Championships. Cosby, now 28, started to engage in the sports of bodybuilding
at the age of 18 in order to stay in shape, to live a healthy lifestyle and to
inspire others to do the same.
“Fitness is
not about being better than someone else. It's about being better than you used
to be. Training is all about feeling good and having fun. I do it as a therapy,
as something to keep me alive. We all need a little discipline. Exercise is my
discipline. It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not
stop," said the 5-foot-3, Seminole, Florida-based celebrity athlete,
fitness enthusiast and body building professional.
A certified
Sports Nutrition Specialist, Fitness Model, Book Author, Muay Thai and Kick-Boxing
instructor and Mixed-Martial artist, Cosby is very passionate about helping
others to find the strength they need to achieve their goals, and for this
purpose she decided to organize the GCSF. To be strong always, stay focused,
sacrifice, dedication, keep to your diet and workout and never give up are what
she would give as advice to beginners to achieve their goals.
The GCSF has
recently gained partnerships from martial arts sports organizations with the Philippine
Escrima, Kali and Arnis Federation (PEKAF), headed by Senator Miguel Zubiri,
and Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) with representative Grand Master Bambit Dulay. GCSF offers attractive sponsorship levels
providing companies and organizations the opportunity to expand their marketing
dollar beyond their booth space and promote their products and services
throughout the largest multi-sport event in the country. Cosby looks forward
for other sports organizations to join the GCSF. For inquiries, email GCSF at infogcsf@gmail.com
